i don’t see how you could consider slaves classified under anything else, really. even if the person “owning” the slaves isn’t perceived by their neighbors as an oppressive dictator to the slave they probably are. (and you forgot a hyphen, “non-oppressive”)

Randomly off topic, but the last time I went to the eye doc, they told me about a new cleaning solution called Clear Care — it’s fairly awesome. I can’t use it every night as you have to commit to leaving the lenses in the solution for a full 8 hours, but using it a couple of times a week keeps my lenses comfortable longer between replacements. It’s hydrogen peroxide based, and you use a weird little case for cleaning that comes with it.
Hmm…. I might have to check into that. I am nortoriously bad about wearing the same pair for like 4 months as long as they still feel ok and don’t gte deposits on them. This might stretch them out even longer!
Me too. I think of the recommended replacement period as more of a starting point.
My doctor is always so amazed when i come in like 2 years later after getting a 6 month supply. He always thinks that I have moved away. lol! Definitely more of a guideline than a rule.

For real. A little common sense would go a long way. Sure, if the kid is a known bully, or has other behavioral problems, then some action might be necessary.
In this case though, just explain to the poor guy why it was wrong, ask him not to do it again, and I’m sure you’ll have no more problems.
