What’s really funny about this is I was just going to bed as it was probably around 10:00pm for me. Aren’t time/date zones wonderful?

For some reason this lol looks like those local commercials the neighborhood used caresalesman can afford to put on TV. You know the ones I am talking about.
I think its the smiley face thats doing it for me.
those commercials always have the owners kids in them. because they’re just “oh so cute”. and unfortunately the kids are usually saying the phone number but it comes out sounding like “call jim bob kia at 34789457t8y57yltudhvgn jkl” because the kids all talk over each other.
And sometimes… those kids aren’t that cute at all. And depending on where you are when you see one… their local accents -really- make everything inaudible.
Oh lordy, we have those in Oklahoma. The kids hawk homes, cars, filtered water systems… And due to a mixture of accents and lack of enunciation, you can’t understand a thing.
I’m almost tempted to buy from these companies, just so they have the dough to pay for speech therapy.
I vaguely recall the saying, “I’m-a Oklahoma born and Oklahoma bred, and when I die I’ll be-a Oklahoma dead” — I’m guessing that excludes any vague Yankee-ification of the accent.
I’m surprised you got anything even remotely vague after sifting through the dialectual quagmire that is the Oklahoma accent.
Most of the time they’re nowhere near as cute as their parents seem to think they are. Seriously, local commercialmakers — of course you think little Dalton and Dakota are the cutest thing ever. They’re YOUR kids. The rest of us….well, not so much.
Oh, and as an addendum to that: Your wife/girlfriend/teenage daughter is ….well, she’s not all that hot. Sorry. And you should probably practice saying your own lines for the commercial until they sound natural, not like you’re reading what the kidnappers just handed you at gunpoint for proof of life.

That’s what this site needs- more children singing about Obama , used cars, mobile homes, etc…
From what I have seen, the children singing for their parents in the commercials belong to Republicans, especially in the Southeast US. I don’t think any are singing about Obama, unless its in a negative light.

Our local dealers also love to put their “hot trophy wives” into their commercials. Only they aren’t that hot. And the Ford dealers wife hasn’t updated her hair since the early 80’s.

Flea Market Montgomery is almost certainly first. That was an actual commercial he aired- the Linoleum commercial is likely referencing it.

They’re actually predicting that the AUD will be worth more than the USD by year’s end. We’ll wait and see, but at the moment the economy here is kicking everyone’s ass.

Your class ring may not pay off even half a month’s mortage. Unless you got a very special class ring most of them are usually less than 14 carat gold and that’s not worth $1055/oz.
