That white thing that they put in its mouth is like one of those Chinese Finger Traps, but for teeth. Just in case the tiger should mildly wake up and try to bite things as a reflex action, it can’t. For the most part, if it was tranquilized, you wouldn’t have to worry about its paws for a while, since it will be off-balance and tired.

As for the white collar, you wouldn’t tell a tiger that it’s out of style to its face, would you?
