Actually, I think it’s some manga called Kerberos Panzer Cop, which I only know because, yes, it inspired the design of the Helghast from Killzone. But the Helghast, I believe, don’t use WWII weapons.

Actually, kilzone, Jin Roh, are all recent incarnations of Kerberos Panzer Cops (1988-2000). Jin Roh is a reactualized anime from the original manga concept. Kilzone just ripped the armor. It’s pretty easy to find cosplay models to make your own.

Look, technically its Kerberos Saga, a whole manga series that spawned multiple manga offshoots, live action, anime, kits, models and toys. Jin Roh was ONE MOVIE featuring the concept. Who cares what guns they are carrying-the tank isn’t Japanese either! Its a bunch of kids in costumes!

These guys are dressed up like combine, but they’re toting Nazi guns and helmets. They are carrying MG 42’s MG 36’s and MP44’s, all WWII era German guns.
I always knew the Nazis and the Combine would join forces eventually.

Okay, hopefully to stop all the discussion of which video game characters these guys are cosplaying, I’m gonna ask a question regarding a photo that continually is popping up on the voting page: Obama and the national anthem photo where he doesn’t have his hand over his heart. What’s the real story on that? I had to wade through 1,000 “Obama you suck yur not a reel Amerikan” LOLs about that, but a few saying that right wing nutjobs took this photo out of context and that it’s not what it seems. Google searches are inconclusive. Help me out here, because if one of those actually makes it, I want to be ready. This wall of text brought to you by Weatherbeater exterior paint. You can’t TELL the national anthem is playing, it’s a still picture without sound! Pictures taken out of context prove just about zip. That particular picture says that at that 1/250th of a second, those people and their hands on their hearts and he didn’t, and it says nothing about what happened before or after.
Yeah, that’s what annoys me about it. But the conservatrolls have a tendency to take things out of context deliberately to make any Democrat look as bad as possible. I was just hoping someone knew the context of the rest of that. It’s silly at best anyway.
