Plus, at the risk of sounding snooty, when I studied German in high school and college, I wouldn’t think about opening my mouth and writing stuff if I didn’t think I had it spelled right and grammatically perfect. But that’s why I got an A+ every freaking semester for 7 or 8 years.
(Now I can’t remember jack shit.)

I agree with you there, however- for me it’s always been particularly easy to identify people who are having trouble with the rules/speaking of English, rather than people who write “telepromtper” and clearly haven’t read their own post. Mostly, I hear people still learning correct English say things like “How to pull up _____ window please?”

I’m in agreement with you but…Could we cut some slack for the non-native English speakers? English spelling is not very straightforward and not easy to master for those learning it as a 2nd language. Plus, some commenters may not be in English speaking countries and may not have a need for an English-based spell check program.

actually it doesn’t. it looks like it was a really low resolution and being blown up to the slightly larger size has made it all effed up. the “white fuzzy area above his shoulders” is the glare from the light off the leather chair.

if you’re not joking… please, actually learn what a photoshopped photo looks like.
