gun ownership – with mandatory training, periodic testing of proficiency and care, no problem at all… you’d not let a toddler or someone mentally incompetent play with razor blades, so I don’t see that training and retesting is a bad thing, if properly administered.

the men and women in uniform, your local, state or federal employees,
the educators, the social workers, the medical staff at the state/fed
funded clinics, the construction workers who’s jobs are paid with matching federal to state funds (you know, the people who build the roads you
drive on), the people who work security at airports, shipping ports,
our borders, customs agents, the people who keep airplanes from
flying into each other, the research grant recipeints (sp?) and all the
folk who provide services or goods to these non-existant, non-
government created jobs……
