I’ve seen it before. On another LOL, I typed my post, then on hitting “enter,” received a message somthing like “Sorry, comments have ended for this LOL.” It would seem that such a message would be more conveniently given on hitting the “Reply to this comment,” so the would-be poster wouldn’t waste time typing. Has anyone else gotten this message?

Oh, they realized it. They liked Sarah Palin, they said. The parents and I ended up talking about politics, religion, and science perfectly civilly, regardless of the fact that we disagreed. It was really nice. I wish there were more people like them in the world.
