Um… Socializied medicine is *not* a Constitutional responsibility of the federal government. It’s Liberty and free market that gives us quality public health. Would you rather have private insurance or be stuck on Medicare and Medicaid and get less than mediocre health care?

Granted the cure for malaria was done by the US Army to facilitate the building of the Panama Canal.

The military *is* a Constitutional responsibility of the federal government and a legitimate use of taxpayers money.

The Interstate highway system may or may not be a Constitutional responsibility of the federal government. I guess it would come under the “interstate commerce” clause of the Constitution in so far as it promotes interstate commerce. But then again, the Interstate highway system was based on the German Autobahn whose purpose was to move military equipment quickly around the country. If you needed to mobilize troops to defend us against Cuban invasion, would you want to go down I-95 or US-1?

You want art? Go for the shepherd’s pie then, a classic british pie. It can be styled in many ways and nothing is hidden.
For those not in the know, it is (at its most basic) meat with mashed potato on top, cooked in a large, deep dish (no pastry).

Indeed, Starbucks is considered so bad here that they had to close all but 22 stores around the country.
I don’t know Cibo since I’m not in South Australia, but I’m happy enough with Hudsons and Gloria Jeans*. Local cafes tend to be the best option though.
