    Sorry, too late…

  3. Wrong card. It was the RNC that bought the clothes, not the campaign.

And they didn’t just dress her. They were for the entire family.

Not to mention the fact that 1/3 was sent back unworn, 1/3 is in the cargo hold of a plane and all of it will be donated to charity after the election.

    Fact check fail.

I didn’t know lols had to go through fact check.

“And they didn’t just dress her. They were for the entire family.”
Even baby Trig! Your donation dollars hard at work!

    • Will says:

“First off, Palin just outright lied, or accused the McCain campaign of outright lying, about her new $150,000 wardrobe they bought her to gussy her up for Joe Six Pack. Palin now claims the clothes aren’t hers. But the best part was what the McCain campaign said next:
      -
A senior adviser to John McCain told CNN’s Dana Bash that the comments about her wardrobe “were not the remarks we sent to her plane this morning.”
      -
It’s pretty clear that the reports of warfare between the Palin and the McCain camps are now confirmed as true.”

****This happens to be my submission****

Another inaccuracy in my caption is “pops”, since John McCain isn’t actually Sarah Palin’s father, and none of Palin’s actual purchases were made on any credit card bearing John McCain’s name.

Which I would think would be so obvious that it would make any other inaccuracies appear INTENTIONALLY ABSURD for humor’s sake.

AdmiralSirJohn, I invite you to lighten up.

      • Ev says:

No worries. In eight days, someone will be elected, and Americans will mostly stop flailing about in great political angst. Everyone will lighten up … until the next presidential election machine starts grinding its gears.

    • L says:

I’m sorry but WHO CARES if it’s being donated to charity. That dosn’t make it any better it probably makes it worse. I mean what homeless person cares if they are wearing D&G they just want to be warm. If they are going to waste that much money dressing her they should at least be selling the clothes on Ebay or something to try and recoup the costs and pay Americans back for the Giant waste of money.

    • DW says:

And the RNC dressed baby Trig, too? Aw, how sweet. I didn’t know that was a function of the RNC? That’s a lot of donations from it’s members to make sure Trig looks good on the campaign trail.

    • mAlise says:

so a combination ov pickiness, wastefulness, and ‘charity donations’ (what, a $25,000.00 jacket at goodwill?) justifies exhorbitant expenditures?

    • So lets get this right…The GOP spends loads of cash on clothes for a state governor, AND her ‘manly man” husband and kids, then they return some of them (they look TOO common) and the rest they don’t wear (I don’t LIKE these FREE clothes, they make my ass look TOO big) oh and when we’re done with them, give them to the commoners. Regular Woman of the People — FAIL

    • PortlandMark says:

I dunno, the last time I bought clothes for a couple months it only came to $600. But that’s me, I’m just a Joe Sixpack.

  4. Dylan H. says:

    John McCain is inflating…

  5. chittybangbang says:

Wonder which charity organization will get her high-priced fashion clothes…….. Salvation Army, Goodwill or what…….. and just who will want to buy them ? Maybe one of those up-scale charities in New York, Chicago or L.A. and the proceeds will go do Downs Syndrome children. Why not just donate the $150,000 to charity to sbegin with ? Would create a lot better publicity.

  6. Rick Jones says:

Sarah Palin designer wardrobe 150,000 dollars. Her wink is priceless.

  7. JayRay says:

I saw those shoes she was wearing. They were undoubtely Christian Louboutin.

    With a $800 pricetag. WAT.

  8. New slogan — Judge Dred gives McCain the evil eye before he is sent out to the wastelands.

  9. Evil Pundit says:

Still cheaper than Obama’s $5,300,000 styrofoam Reichstag.

  10. de Ogi says:

I must say Michelle O looked mighty fine in her sleeveless $34.95 H+M dress she wore on the campaign trail with her hubby. (what’s his name, again?)

  11. gnep says:

awwwwwww what a wholesome american family.
