Terrior is actually a complex concept. It’s French, and refers to the geology, geography, climate, topography, sense of place, etc. that contribute to the characteristics of (usually) a particular wine or vinyard.

And I’m pretty sure you can’t negotiate with them. Enjoy them, perhaps.

Suzy was a “character” used in previous lol comments where someone
depicted a young girl with a made up disease that included Obama’s name.
The “skit” suggest the only cure is decapitation. Suzy’s last words were..
“Change change change… GLUURK” as the doctor took her head off.
I was merely remarking on the…. dare I say irony of the folks fighting for
children’s rights in the womb, speaking of decapitating little girls for not
thinking how they do.

I wish you would phrase that in a less-insulting way, but in my experience what you say is true. I live in a red-state. (We are near the bottom of the barrel in terms of education, health, infant mortality, etc.) I work for a (federally) grant funded program providing early childhood education to at-risk children. Nearly all (90+%) of our students (district wide) qualify for free or reduced price lunch. The only people in our town, it seems, who have significant income are the farmers who receive subsidies, or people who work for the school. But they’ll vote for McCain because Obama means socialism to them. And that’s scary scary!! Wouldn’t want any redistribution of income. LOL

Amen Mine weigh in at over 110 lbs per dog, and they’re not overly buff like Rottweilers or similar dogs, but they are a bit bigger. They’re great guard dogs, but more importantly: they’re sweet and smart and very lovely and pretty
