Is it wrong that it didn’t really bother me? Sure it felt like a desperate attempt to connect, but I don’t mind that as much as some other things he does.

I dunno. A lot of people have done it in American history, so I just assume it’s his opponents trying to come up with SOMETHING to bash him over. After all, the debate didn’t give us really anything new on either side. And I’m getting sick of hearing “That one” jokes and “My friends” jokes. It’s really irritating to hear the same thing ALL ACROSS THE INTERNET all the time lately. My soapbox for today.

I am so sorry. My former state, Texas, is as well. I’ve gladly moved to Washington since then – Obamaland.

If they were really all his friends, why did McCain leave so fast? And he left Obama to schmooze with all his friends…. and get their pictures taken with Obama…. and court their votes.
