  1. heh says:

    Yay! Vikings rule!

  2. Vectoor says:

    Vikings? In Alaska? :/

The only real Vikings are Swedish ones! (k, the norse and danes had some too)

  3. Jamieteevee says:

Do they know the words to “Berserker”?

  4. Jamieteevee says:

I count lots of dead wolf parts in this photo.

  5. eddiepscetti says:

Brings to mind the song “Heeding The Call” by Hammerfall.. LOL!

  6. Mr. T says:

To say this site is biased for Obama is an understatement. Your humor falls flat after the constant pounding on Sarah Palin and John McCain. Hope it blows up in your face.

  7. Wolvie says:

She still has more experience than your Presidential pick gj.

  8. wow says:

The ads on the side of this site are getting down-right offensive. I don’t want to see pics of McCain and Palin having sex when I come here to see the lols. And they’re all “Pro-Democrat Tees & More!” or “Democrat Car Magnets!!!”. If the site has anything to do with the ads here they need to take a look at how biased and obnoxious they are.

    • eddiepscetti says:

I thought the same thing. But, it is their website and they can pretty much do as they please.

      • PiMan says:

It is pretty obnoxious, and makes it obvious that ads aren’t localised.
Of the 8 ads I see, 5 are Democrat, one is half/half, the other two are for snorg tees.
I should really get adblock installed.

    • n8 says:

I found it to be at once distasteful and hilarious. “Drill, baby, drill!” Not something I’d ever purchase, but good for a light chuckle all the same.

      • MegaBob says:

Now let’s see one with Obama “drilling” his beyotch Biden !

        • n8 says:

See, the humor wouldn’t work, because Obama never said “Drill, baby, drill” (as Palin did in regards to the ANWR), and because he actually took on a VP candidate of substance, instead of a token set of genitalia sporting “dirty librarian” glasses.

It’s no wonder that conservative LOLs never make the front page. You guys just don’t understand humor.

          • DeathWyrmNexus says:

Do not diss the dirty librarian glasses… >_>

However, I don’t need the image of McCain screwing anybody/anything on the front of the lol site. Despite my distaste for McCain, I too found the ad offensive.

          • ema says:

How about Hillary instead of Biden? That would work just fine! I would still hate it though as much as I hate this one. Disgusting and low class, nothing funny about it at all. And, nothing funny about our economic woes due to lack of oil either and the stubborn Democrat refusal to allow us to solve it by drilling for our own.

            • lowly grunt says:

And when it runs out? What’s the back up plan?

            • markmier says:

I am not against drilling in ANWR, but don’t think for a second that that will solve our oil problem. It’s just like an addict, “just one more fix then I’ll be all good…”

What we need is a comprehensive research and development program for new sources of energy that don’t depend on oil.

              • ema says:

Both candidates are saying the same things about research, etc. I fully agree and hope we can get there soon. In the meantime there is nothing wrong with drilling here to help bring down the prices now.

                • DeathWyrmNexus says:

Um it would help by how little again? And that is after ten years. How about we dig into what would take care of things on the overall problem now instead of drilling for a little bit of “fix” that won’t even really help.

                  • ema says:

The idea is to do both. The price is up so far now because of market speculation and just the talk of drilling has pushed the price of oil down a little bit.

                    • n8 says:

We don’t have the money to do both! Thanks to eight years of the Republicans allowing big business to do what it likes with zero oversight, our economy has imploded. Not content to be Bush the Third, John McCain aspires to be Herbert Hoover Jr., and makes Hoover’s same claims (nigh verbatim) with regard to the economy. How in the name of all that’s holy are we going to muster the funds to do drilling OR research, never mind both?

                      • ema says:

Thats the thing, the government does not have to pay for drilling. Private companies do that and the government collects taxes and whatever else kind of royalties, etc. Do you know that in Alaska everyone is getting a $1200 rebate from the government? Article attached of course… Here is a quote: “It was Palin, after all, who last month proposed that lawmakers pay out a $1,200 resource rebate as a way for the state to share some of its multibillion-dollar oil revenue surplus with Alaska residents.”

                        • jellybeans says:

And yet they still take the Governement money for the OTHER bridge to nowhere (600 million to link Wasilla to Anchorage endangering a pod of beluga whales in the process but Palin of course doesn’t care about the whales – just the money)

                        • ema says:

All states take federal money for infrastructure – you are changing the subject.

                        • markmier says:

But all states governors don’t make a political point of saying they said “thanks but no thanks” when in fact they still took the money, in direct contradiction to their stated aims for what the country should do.

                        • DeathWyrmNexus says:

Ya that rather galled me too.

                      • lol says:

Drilling will not make a dent in the current US oil consumption, the oil companies just want to claim rights to the land.

                        • ema says:

more suppy = lower prices to relieve the stress on the economy

                        • lol says:

                          Wrong-o!

                        • Won’t see any oil for years, by the time we do it won’t have an impact. Drilling is not the answer, unless of course your loyality is to the large oil corporations and not the USA.

                        • herb says:

Oil companies already have leases on 40 million acres of off-shore reserves, and they’re only drilling on 10. That and the record windfall profits… *sigh* there’s making money, and there’s outright gouging.

Forgive me for not weeping as they whine for more tax breaks.

                        • Actually, the oil company execs are traitors, they give aid and comfort to our enemies during time of war. Too bad their pet GOP congressional lapdogs can’t figure that out.

                        • herb says:

The lips of the American government have been wrapped firmly around the shaft of Big Oil for decades — we’re at, what?, a century and a quarter?.

                        • DeathWyrmNexus says:

I will be billing you for therapy for that damaging mental image. Or I will just think of something else and forget all about it. I will let the suspense build.

                    • somedude says:

Actually, if they started drilling right now on our own reserves, it would take an estimated 5 years before we saw even a drop of it. Even then, it is not expected to make any significant impact, according to federal research.

            • Christine says:

There is no “lack” of oil. What there is, is a finite resource which is growing smaller. But we do not “lack” oil. And drilling our own would not solve that either. We do drill in our own country, and there is plenty of space that has been designated for leasing to the oil companies. But they would rather destroy the environment and the creatures that rely on it that to utilize what has been made available. Also, for the record, it is not just the Democrats. Schwatzenegger is staunchly opposed to offshore drilling.

              • ema says:

Oh right, they are just dying to destroy the environment and all the creatures! That’s what they really want to do! You found out! The more oil on the market the lower the price and the better for the economy, period. The reason they are not using current leases is because, surprise! there is no oil there! They are the experts on where the oil is not Nancy Pelosi.

                • herb says:

If you truly believe the oil companies are motivated by anything remotely resembling a passing allusion to something somebody read about in a Reader’s Digest synopsis of a junior high school essay on altruism, I have a bridge I’d like to sell you. Real cheap. Only ever used by a little old lady to cash her pension check.

          • hp says:

As a dirty librarian, I’m offended.

      • It’s a CAPITAL ONE commercial…

        What’s in your wallet

    • lol says:

But last week all my ads were pro-McCain…

    • hp says:

I agree and I’m a Democrat. I don’t really want to see that McCain/Palin cartoon and I don’t know anyone who’d want to buy that. But the website needs to make money and they do so by selling advertising space to whomever is willing to pay. If more pro-Republican companies and websites bought ad space on the site you’d see more advertisements for them. Personally I’m more offended by the University of Phoenix online ads.

    • blah blah black sheep says:

Whaaaaat? Sex? I don’t see any of it. Firefox and Adblocker. But now I want to, just to feel included.

    • Tessie says:

I don’t want to see pics of McCain having sex with ANYBODY… Do I have a problem?

    • PortlandMark says:

C’mon, where’s your right wing love of free enterprise?

  9. Cathy says:

    Enough said LOVED IT!!!

  10. Ricks says:

Yeah Obama’s got WAY more experience, like … that trip he took a couple months ago, and …. uh … well, I guess that’s about it.

  11. lol says:

    Consorting with viking ter’rists!

  12. Bill says:

Great! More senseless bashing of Palin by the whiney liberals. Keep up your hate-mongering, jerks!

    • lowly grunt says:

Bill, please explain how this is bashing. In your answer, please be sure to cite Palin’s foreign policy experience either with links or exact quotes.

      • MegaBob says:

Right after you describe in detail Obama’s foreign policy experience !
        Uh….. nope…um, nothing…

      • Bill says:

It was a joke aimed at the d-bags on this site that get all fired up over humor that runs contrary to their political slant. This isn’t a site for arguing politics, its a site for giggling at silly pictures, but some people don’t get that. If I may digress, it often seems like two people arguing over what a coin looks like. One claims it’s heads, the other tails. When the other disagrees, the attack their family, experience, etc, without ever really talking about what’s actually going on. When one takes a side, black or white, they misrepresent, take out of content and malign what their opponent has to say. Getting such a “black” and a “white” to yell propaganda at each other is what qualifies as a debate in this day and age. When the day comes when the voters actually take the time to look at one issue at a time, look at the facts, not how your party views the world but the facts of how our economy and war are doing and what their long term implications are, we’ll have real candidates to vote for. In conclusion, please watch the movie Idiocracy. So much is to be learned there.

        • ema says:

But instead of actually adding a funny comment for us all to laugh at, you add to the deviseness… Way to join in with the rest of us!

          • Bill says:

            Sarcasm fail!

            • dissimilitude says:

Only to the overly-literal, Bill. I thought your comment was funny.

Of course, the picture cracked me up, too, even though I’m almost 100%
definitely voting McCain. Why? Because it’s funny as hell.

            • ema says:

I understand your first comment was sarcastic, I was referring to your second comment in which you said: “This isnโ€™t a site for arguing politics, its a site for giggling at silly pictures, but some people donโ€™t get that.” Then you went on to wag your finger at everyone on the site and finally recommended a movie for our guidance. Was that sarcasm?

  13. DeathWyrmNexus says:

Dude, I wanna hang out with Vikings…

  14. Jim says:

Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam…..wonderful spam!!

  15. Ignatz says:

Kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit, kill da wabbit…

  16. bittervoter says:

Dude, I don’t care who you are, I’m amusing. So I guess once I’m in my first Wagnerian opera, I could be president too. ;)

  17. funnyfarm says:

Oh great, she crashed an American Asatru blot

  18. azra says:

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    she’s a fool

  19. Michael says:

if you recall your history… the Vikings were a brutal, conquering and pillaging lot… I’m sure Sarah Plain (w lipstick) feels right at home among their admirers. Just wait till she gets to the White House and starts her war with Russia.

  20. Gollum says:

I see this as more economic experience, as in “What’s in your wallet.”

  21. emily says:

oh, PETA’s gonna have a fit about this

  22. votefortinafey says:

Oh, yeah, send in the PETA people………The vikings can eat them for dinner….LOL

  23. Tessie says:

What “foreign”?? That’s the Thursday night PTA meeting in Barbie’s hometown!

  24. Dan, ad nauseam says:

    Ur doing it rong.

  25. Jaosn says:

I can’t believe that we have Caribou Barbie running for VP. Seriously, people believe that she has more experience than Obama? Okay, let’s see here… hockey mom/beauty queen who was mayor of a town of 7000 and then governor of Alaska for 20 months. And in the other corner a graduate from Harvard Law who studied Constitutional Law and served as a legislator at both the state and federal levels for longer than her so-called “executive” experience. That’s rich. I really, really wanted to vote for McCain, but his VP pick just has me really worried that he’s off his rocker and that this crazy woman is going to end up the leader of the free world. I can’t bring myself to do it anymore…

  26. zeephile says:

It looks like they’re LARPing to me.

Vote for John McCain! He loves to LARP! =)

Or not because he’ll probably die within a week of being nominated.

  27. shellz says:

As a proud Democratic American, this shit is weird. MCcInsane/Palin can and never will represent me. Their phony, immoral conservative rhetoric sickens me. The time has come to destroy the evil ones in Washington. It’s going to be interesting to have a black man with the key to access all the naughty little secrets that have been held in the white mans hands for hundreds of years. I am not voting on the basis of one’s skin color……..but on the content of their character and leadership abilities. If your racist, republican or a “MOOSE EATEN, HOCKEY MOM”-God bless and sleep well tonight.

  28. rich says:

haha i really like this one. you know what they say “to learn how to make 18 million cracks you have to talk to the crack heads”
