I can’t tell if it’s the eyes or the half smile. Or both.

    • Evil Pundit says:

It’s the creepiness of the liberals who attack Republican candidates’ families.

Click my name for a sickening example.

      • fred says:

They are going against a direct order from their leader.

        • Evil Pundit says:

They know he didn’t really mean it.

Throughout this campaign, Obama’s strategy has been to play the “nice guy” while his followers do all the slime-hurling.

          • n8 says:

Your hypocrisy is overwhelming, yet predictable. As is Obama’s win in November.

            • Simnos says:

I think he was going for “mature adult” more than “nice guy.” Don’t you
get sick of political campaigns based on the lowest common denominator?

          • D'oh says:

And you know what? The followers aren’t the presidential candidates, hence they really don’t matter. But please, don’t make a fool of yourself and act like those poor poor Republicans are being butchered by those eeeevil Liberals. Every basket has it’s rotten apples, Democrates, Liberals, Independants and Republicans alike.

          • teebird says:

You mean like practically every presidential candidate there’s ever been?
That’s standard tactical conduct for a candidate for president of either party
…stay above the fray and let your team of dobermans do the dirty work.

That’s not “liberal” or “conservative.” That’s power politics.

        • daveynelson says:

I believe the order was something like “It is bad to go after somebody’s family (wink, wink). Any EMPLOYEE who is CAUGHT doing so will be fired.”

The non-employed and non-caught are free to do whatever they want.

      • lol says:

Oh, your picture is linked to your name then?

        • heh says:

I know you don’t like EP, but that blog is seriously disgusting. I hope they pull that trash down quick.

          • herb says:

I saw no proof that it was a liberal’s site. It’s more likely just some late-teen/early-twenties jackass’s idea of funny. Which it’s not.

With EP, I get more proof from a packet of yeast.

          • n8 says:

Just as likely the blog was put up by a conservative as something to point at, and say “ooh, those evil libruls!” Classic Rovian tactic.

            • heh says:

I don’t care who did it. It just needs removing if for no other reason than TOS violations. It’s just wrong.

              • n8 says:

Things far worse have existed on the Internet for some time now. Probably the best thing you can do is navigate away and never visit the page again.

            • fred says:

Try and find something quite as bad about Obama.

              • GomerPhyls says:

For all we know EP made that blog himself so that he could play the “woe-is-me, and all liberals are evil” card on Pundit Kitchen.

                • eddiepscetti says:

Know what I think? I think that EP can find enough links without having to resort to that kind of crap. Like him or hate him, I think he is a bit above that. You might as well say he was hijacking ID’s also.

                  • Seth says:

ABOVE that? EP? He’s not above anything, he’s a total party tool, I think he’d shoot his own grandma if it could get a Republican elected.

          • jellybeans says:

Agreed, that is truly disgusting and the people involved are utterly beneath contempt.
I hate the woman’s politics and I do feel the judgment shown in flying while 8 months pregnant is a valid concern but that is beyond the pale.

            • fred says:

Do you EVER miss a chance to slam her? Geez.

              • jonnielaw says:

who would miss a chance to slam her. HEY-OOOO!!!!!!

                • fred says:

Right, there it is, you would probably laugh at that left-wing liberal website EP posted earlier making fun of the Down’s Syndrome baby.

                  • jellybeans says:

general consensus is that it was either a 14 year old trying to be a badass or a conservative propaganda site to make people feel sorry for her.

                    • fred says:

general consensus? wha? did you survey the net already?

                    • tristyjoy says:

Yup, and because it’s general consensus it MUST be true! You people are even dumber than i thought. Forget the freakin’ parties, cuz they BOTH suck and try looking what is ACTUALLY going on. Try doing your OWN research instead of believing what loud-mouth news people, talkshow hosts and politicians with their own secret agenda tell you. It’s our unquestioning populace more than our retarded president (past, present or future) that is killing our country.

                • I-Tego_Arcana_Dei says:

                  i loled

              • jellybeans says:

So feeling bad that someone made that disgusting website means she deserves a pass on all of her lies and that I should now agree with her politics?
Sorry, my fiance is already looking into jobs in London just in case this pitbull gets elected.

                • eddiepscetti says:

You know, Alec Baldwin and Barbara Streisand promised in 2000 that if Bush got elected they were moving out of the country. Funny enough, they’re still here.

                  • lol says:

30 Rock would be nowhere near as funny without Baldwin.

                  • jellybeans says:

Here is the reasoning behind my fiance’s job search:
He is slightly the wrong skin tone for McCain’s America.
He is in the “target age” group.
He is routinely profiled in airports already.
He feels unwanted in his own country and McCain scares him as much as Palin scares me when it comes to potential loss of freedoms.
He has NEVER broken a law and he has NEVER done anything to make anyone think he doesn’t love this country and yet still … 29 year old brown man must = terrorist in waiting as far as this newly turned police state we live in is concerned.

      • Jonnyboy says:

It’s immature and unintelligent people that bring up completely irrelevant topics in completely inappropriate places that perpetuate the very thing that you believe should not even be happening (which 99% of people don’t even want to hear about, so just stop it).

      • Charlie Foxtrot says:

Your site has all of the earmarks of a right wing propaganda site. It is so obviously intended to evoke sympathy for your candidate and cause people to focus anger against the “evil” Democrats. The problem with sites like this, is that even the communists during the cold war had better propaganda than this. You people need to get a little more slick… your piss poor attempts are actually pretty funny.

      • Charlie Foxtrot says:

My first response disappeared, so if this repeats, sorry about that. EP, this site is an obvious ruse. It has all of the earmarks of a conservative site established to discredit “liberals.” It is pure propaganda, intended to evoke sympathy for Sarah Palin and hatred for democrats, even the communists during the cold war weren’t this incompetent. After 23 years as an intelligence officer, I recognize propaganda, this isn’t even close to being a D. I give it two thumbs up the …. (call your proctologist for the answer).

      • Jocasta says:

You are one serious right-wing tool if you can’t tell that it’s a (quite disgusting, but still a) troll and or a fourteen-year-old boy who things he’s ‘hardcore’ and taboo.

Sometimes I wonder if you’re not a troll yourself, though.

      • George says:

It’s funny how you pretend no conservative took personal pot-shots at Theresa Heinz-Kerry and Hillary Clinton. It’s funny… but not surprising in the least.

        • eddiepscetti says:

Let’s see, Hillary was tied up with Whitewater along with Bill, so I can see the relevance there. Kerry’s campaign was financed in part by his wife’s wealth, I can see the relevance there. How is taking shots at a handicapped child the same?

          • George says:

So you’re saying families aren’t off limits, unless they’re Rightie families. I get it! I knew that already!

          • McGurk says:

Seriously… go find me an example of a valid representative of the left ridiculing her son. You can’t, because it’s all just crap from the “illustrious internet,” where none of them are as cruel as all of them.

            • eddiepscetti says:

But the daughter is fair game, is that it? When did the daughter sign up to become part of the political machine? Maybe the stories about the son are false, and I don’t discount that. But the daughter has certainly been drug through the muck and mire.

              • McGurk says:

Way to overt…. But she didn’t sign on, her mother signed for her. Pretending like the underage pregnant daughter of a neo-con veep candidate won’t be a valid subject of criticism is RIDICULOUSLY naive.

        • Deal says:

Forget Theresa and Hillary. What about Chelsea Clinton?

“Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly? Because her father is Janet Reno”
-McCain 1998 (he later publically apologized for the insult)

Then there’s Rush’s history of hatred for a girl he treats like the greatest threat to America.

          • eddiepscetti says:

No, let’s NOT forget Theresa Kerry and Hillary Clinton. That was the content of the question and that is what was answered. If McCain said that about Chelsea, well then that was his bad. If he later apologized for, good, but it doesn’t necessarily undo the put down. As for Rush, why you are obsessed with him? Is he running for office?

            • McGurk says:

THE RIGHTIE STRAW GRAB 2008 CONTINUES!

              • Kurt says:

EddieP is right. You can’t fully hold the right responsible for the idiotic ramblings of the likes of Comedian Rush Limbaugh and BillO the clown (Yeah, quoting Keith Obermann, but what can I say, I like his show). The only people who are, in my opinion, are fair game are the candidates, and the people running the campaign. The families are off limits, the local level volunteer campaign workers are off limits.

      • I-Tego_Arcana_Dei says:

Shut the hell up EP. It’s a funny pic and a funny lol. No one is “attacking” Mrs. McCain in any moral/ethical/emotional/political sense. We are making fun of her and the way she looks in this picture WHICH IS THE POINT OF THE WEBSITE. I personally know nothing about her other then who she’s married to. I doubt anything posted on this site will affect McCain’s campaign anyway. So unknot those panties of yours and take Xanax.

If you can find a goofy lookin pic of Mrs. Obama, think of a clever caption and slap it up there. I’ll laugh at that one too. Because having a SENSE OF HUMOR is a bipartisian trait you jackass.

      • Chuck says:

You mean like the 8 years of attacks against the Clinton’s daughter?

    • ---------- says:

or the fact that a man who claims to espouse family values would divorce the mother of his 3 children while she waited for him during his stay at the Hanoi Hilton, to marry this woman whose face is stretched so tight, she can only half-smile, ’cause a full smile would split her skin…..

      • Evil Pundit says:

That’s the way! Smear the families some more.

Voters are learning what liberals are really like.

        • James says:

If someone brought up the fact that John McCain killed and ate his own parents you conservatives would complain that they were dragging the family into it. Plus you’d complain that we don’t respect how hard he has it as an orphan.

What your family does isn’t always relevant. What you do to your family is.

      • jellybeans says:

the CRIPPLED wife of his 3 kids … lest we forget that part

        • boom says:

          bring on them family val-yoose!

        • eddiepscetti says:

An interesting interview with McCain and his ‘moral failure’. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avzpv5gbV-o

        • Evil Pundit says:

Bring on those family smears! It’s working just great for you DEmocrats.

          • jellybeans says:

Does it still count as a smear if it is true?
PS – how long after his marriage to Cindy did the divorce to his poor crippled wife go through?

          • Lyn says:

To anyone not *searching* for ways to twist things into insults to McCains family, that fact makes MCCAIN look bad, not his ex-wife. He divorced his disabled wife and the mother of his children to marry a rich trophy wife who he had been having an affair with while still in his previous marriage. In that statement, McCain’s ex-wife looks like an innocent victim, and Cindy McCain looks somewhat bad for participating in the affair, but John McCain is the main person being “attacked”, because despite his supposed “family man” status, he was unfaithful to his first wife and then left her for somebody younger, non-disabled and richer.

            • jellybeans says:

Of course Edward’s affair and Bill’s many many affairs are way worse than leaving your crippled wife to marry a trophy heiress … right?

              • herb says:

Bill didn’t leave Hillary and Edwards wasn’t shagging in an airport bathroom, so yes, their improprieties are far worse.

And it’s properly “Edwards’s” or casually “Edwards’”. I was trying to think of a Dem named Ed.

  2. fred says:

Now didn’t Obama himself expressly say that the family is off limits in this campaign?

    • Evil Pundit says:

He did, but as usual Obama was lying.

Obama promised to fire anyone who attacked Palin’s family, but his top fundraiser Howard Gutman did so, and has not been reprimanded. Hit my name for details.

      • Seth says:

That’s all opinion, and not fact. Obama may have had many gaffs on the campaign trail, but he has not made statements that have been quite as blatantly untrue, as McCain and Palin have (this too is an opinion, learn to distinguish between fact and opinion).
I do have a lot of respect for Cindy, she has done a lot of good work in her life. I respect anyone who would want to work with a students diagnosed with Down Syndrome. She has also done a lot of work in Africa and poor nations. I have a lot of respect for both of the McCain’s, I just think that John has sacrificed his moral compass to pander to his “base”. He is no longer the man who fought so valiantly against “soft” campaign contributions after coming under investigation for accepting money from lobbyist.

        • lol says:

McCain lost it when he took that check from Rove. He’s not a maverick, he’s just another repub bent to toe the party line.

          • monkeygirl says:

and google “admiral’s son + songbird” to find out what a true “War Hero” he is…. why doesn’t the media investigate his own admission that he’s a war criminal!

I wish the democrats WOULD make an issue of the teen pregnancy… they want to be the nice guys, but while americans say they don’t like attack ads, studies show that they work. Her daughter’s pregnancy is the chickens coming home to roost. USE IT

            • eddiepscetti says:

Then why wasn’t he tried for treason? If YOU think you would be able to hold up under any type of interrogation, I suggest you give it a try sometime. As for Vietnam Vet’s supporting him or not, I took quite a beating on here in regards to John Kerry and Swift Boating. I have come to the conclusion that everyone has their own agenda as to why they would bag on a commrade in arms, and this is no different. For McCain’s service to this country, here is a list of some the medals he was awarded:

Silver Star, a Legion of Merit for Valor, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, two Commendation medals plus two Purple Hearts and a dozen service medals.

I say, if it’s good enough for Kerry, it’s good enough for McCain. So if in fact he is a traitor, then by f*cking God try him for it. Otherwise, STFU about it. And as a side note, thanks CF for making me see the light..

              • Barack2thefuture says:

Regardless of his POW status and actions, it still doesn’t qualify him to be President. Yet there’s ‘neer a speech he doesn’t find a way to work it in. And no one has questioned his actions nearly as bad as the “Swift Boaters” did to Kerry. They outright lied about the dude and he didn’t even milk it as much as McCain has. For damn near every race he’s ever run in, McCain’s reverted back to his time in the “Hanoi Hilton”. I’m sure people appreciate what he went through but after 30 years he should be able to run solely on his record and stance on issues (which has been notably compromised since he began running).

        • Evil Pundit says:

It is a fact that Obama said he would fire any member of his campaign who attacked Palin’s family.

It is a fact that Howard Gutman subsequently attacked Palin’s family.

It is a fact that Obama has not fired Gutman.

These are verifiable, documented facts — not opinions.

          Your candidate is a liar.

          • Melody says:

And YOUR candidate couldn’t even come up with an original acceptance speech. He had to steal Bush’s, practically verbatim. He’s SUCH a “maverick,” isn’t he? SO original. Even Bush’s speech writer slammed McCain’s speech.

            • Lolnathan says:

Good job. You didnt even address his points. You just went with the “two wrongs make a right” defense. And you didn’t even use a decent one. You compared lying versus using a canned acceptance speech. Couldn’t you have at least used an instance where McCain lied in your amazingly juvenile response?

          • n8 says:

Well, your definition of “attack” is a bit off, to judge by your other posts. Calling attention to verifiable matters of public record doesn’t really qualify as an attack, nor does pointing out inconsistencies in Palin’s policy stances when compared with said matters. So no, there are no grounds here to call Obama a liar. This is just another instance of you trying to twist his words to your own ends.

          • jellybeans says:

What did Howard Gutman say about the family? Sources please.

            • Lyn says:

According to EP’s link, he said โ€œIf you take a daughter whoโ€™s got this emotional strife and subject her to the most intense scrutiny of the world at this time in her life, I think youโ€™ve put your career above your family.โ€ To be honest, that strikes me as an attack on Palin’s treatment of her family, not her actual family members, but then that’s the case with most of the things EP claims are “attacks on the family”.

          • I-Tego_Arcana_Dei says:

            so is yours.

            they are politicians.

            they lie.

just gotta figure out who lies less.

so far, obama seems to be the lessor liar.

          • Golugranu says:

From reading the excerpt on that page, it seems to me that it was PALIN’s family values that were attacked, not her valued family.

    • enema says:

Obama didn’t post this lol. OR DID HE? Repub tin foil hat conspiracies at 11.

  3. MegaBob says:

Also, Obama’s using his tried and tested tactic of getting the media to open sealed divorce records of his opponents. He’s trying to do this to Palin now.

  4. wut says:

    EP would hit it.

    • 1.618 says:

LOL! After reading his outraged spittle-flecked diatribes throughout this thread, he would definitely hit it. He’s so freaking predictable.

  5. daveynelson says:

Sound like the maker fo this “LOL” has mommy issues…

  6. Theresa says:

    Wow, THAT’S topical!

  7. Poll-akin says:

I’m just amused by the misspelling of “airbrushing”. Though I doubt air-Bush-ing would help either.

  8. eddiepscetti says:

You think this is bad, take a good look at Nancy Pelosi or Dianne Feinstein sometime!

  9. Trainwreck Chaser says:

Definitely gonna claim zing, even if it is on our side.

    Nice job.

  10. CB says:

u know, there are a lot of really funny things on this site (and associated sites), that could beconstrued leaning to 1 or the other political side. and Most funny. But this is just mean. The joke about her looking like the Borg Queen – funny! but calling her creepy, its mean.

  11. Kevin T. says:

I love John McCain dearly, but this picture’s true. :(

  12. Liwl says:

Look ma! My submeeeshon made da cut! As long as both sides can make fun of each other equally – or be made fun of en masse equally – then the system is working.

    • eddiepscetti says:

Congrats.. by the way, it’s airbrushing, not airbushing (you missed the R).. next time you might want to proof your work before submitting.

      • Liwl says:

Maybe I should send it to failblog too…

      • Barack2thefuture says:

Thank you grammar police, but you should probably be reminded that you’re out of juristiction when criticzing spelling on a lolcats related board. Now move along and go ticket some little kids for pronouncing words wrong while sounding them out.

  13. ... says:

$5 says Obama gets assassinated while in office, if he is elected, which he won’t be. Some crazy white guy will go nuts.

    • Dread Poet Jethro says:

      Let’s pray you are wrong
      Whoever gets elected
      May they serve their term

    • eddiepscetti says:

      Why would you wish that?

      • TheLarrikin says:

I don’t think … is wishing that, though I do think it’s a higher possibility, Obama over any other recent President.

    • eddiepscetti says:

Some time back there a post about McCain’s bus getting bombed. It wasn’t funny then, it isn’t funny now. I can’t fathom the mindset of someone that would actually entertain those thoughts.

    • MegaBob says:

Think “Vince Foster”- and think “white female”.

    • D'oh says:

If this would be about McCain, EP would jump on it like a rabid hound calling the WAAAAmbulance on how those eeeeeevil Liberals (even though he knows NOTHING about the poster, how arrogant can you be) again say all those bad bad things about the poor Republicans and how all those Liberals (even though it’s an INDIVIDUAL who posts certain things, but apperantly that word is alien to EP) are immoral, corrupted etc etc folk.

  14. n8 says:

For the record, I think she’s a fairly good-looking lady, who would cut your balls off if you crossed her. (And that only adds to her appeal, to me anyway.)

I may not agree with her politics, but calling her “creepy” is over the line.

  15. Wolvie says:

Where is Obama’s black militant wife’s ugly mug?

  16. CBinNH says:

Cruella de Ville, Cruella de Ville
If she doesn’t scare you, no evil thing will
To see her is to take a sudden chill
    Cruella, Cruella de Ville……..

  17. Laur Laur says:

Did anyone notice yet that it says AirBUSHing instead of AirBRUSHing?

    Freudian slip, ya think?

  18. ish says:

    i like tits

  19. Shin says:

I agree, all the “airbushing” in the world can’t take away the creepy, but maybe some airbrushing can

  20. cormac says:

i think shes kinda hot in a kinky wayy

  21. Uncle George Esq. says:

    This Buds For You.
