I don’t care whether or not you believe in creationism. But you cannot say it expounded in just one specific religion.

Many of the tribal religions prcticed by Native Americans and Aboriginal peoples of Australia also have similar theories about the beginning of time and the universe.

Sorry, but keep your religion out of the country’s schools unless the CLASS is a religion (a comparative study of the major world religions, taught sans bias, for example).

And, there is a lot more evidence to the Big Bang than to any religion’s creation plan, tbqh.

If we were going to be so “equal” about it, then public schools would have to teach every possible theory of creation- not just Christianity’s. Perhaps instead of trying to shove it into ALL science classes, since there already isn’t enough time to fit in everything we need to learn before the end of the year, or before the AP test, (Personally, my class had to read and outline the first 5 chapters of AP Biology over the Summer, this year, just so we’d be able to cover everything during the year.) we just make it an option?

In the same way that I can choose whether I want to take AP Biology, Physiology, AP Chemistry, or IB Physics, those religious students who want to learn more about Creationism can take it as a Philosophy class, or whatever. That way, people who don’t want to be preached to, don’t have to be.
