this is vitali klitschko. lennox lewis ducked him for so long that the wbc (i believe) not only wouldn’t let lewis defend his title against a scheduled opponent (kirk johnson?), but advised him that if his next fight wasn’t a title shot for klitschko, they would strip him of the belt. klitschko dominated, but lewis got a cut going over his eye and kept working it like the boring methodical fighter he was. the fight was stopped, and lewis retired to avoid a rematch.

In boxing, or any martial art, you are never winning if you haven’t knocked the other opponent out. never leave it up to the judges, or your opponnent, one punch/kick/nuke changes the whole equation.

Vtali Klitchko actually was winning this fight against Lennox Lewis, but the fight had to be stopped and it was stopped short of going to the judges scorecards. Since it did not go to the cards, he lost. Lennox was lucky.

and for that matter…wrong nationality.
oh and good job commenting on a sport you don’t follow.
and also, if you fail at knowing what you’re talking about (which you quite apparently do), you might want to look into getting yourself a large mug of keep-quiet-and-dont-comment.
