woot first next poster is gh3y

    • ice_army says:

      You bet ya! ”winks”

      • RedWhiteAndBoom says:

Why would you suppress that reflex? The guy’s a liberal. He’s always aiming for your wallet.

        • No1askedme says:

You exhibit ignorance of the highest caliber. The republicans are the ones who want to take your wallet and give it to the rich.

          P.S. I don’t mean conservatives, I mean republicans, there’s a difference now.

  2. Ozzie Mandius says:

This one actually made me lol.

      • Seth says:

It’s funny because stupid white people are prejudiced and think black people always steal things. It isn’t making fun of Obama at all, so I can’t understand why you think it’s funny. Oh, it’s because you are stupid and thought it was saying Obama is going to pinch the nation’s wallet? I see. Well, you know, raising taxes is always better than just raising spending and making our kids pay for it like the Repugs do.

  3. ema says:

Why? Is he buying lunch? I don’t get it.

    • lolbammy says:

Nope. ‘cuz ‘Bama is lookin’ out for your wallet, but not in a GOOD way.

    • jellybeans says:

      Because he is black?

      • Ozzie Mandius says:

        I think that’s the idea.

      • cincinatus says:

so….. either : (1) you see a black face and think “criminal” or (2) you see a white face and think “that guy must think all black men are criminals”?

        Both (1) and (2) are racist concepts…

        • Free2B says:

Makes it an interesting social experiment. Who found it funny, for what reason? There are obviously two different camps of translation. I would love to take this to the street.

          • Wendy says:

I found it funny. It’s like a huge “Yep, this is what happens every day” for black people – more ironic since ya’know, Obama is a Presidential candidate. Sort of sad too, though. It reminded me of this one “The Awful Truth” ep where M.M. gave black people day glo orange wallets just so the cops wouldn’t shoot them for “mistaking” the wallets as guns.

        • jellybeans says:

          You are pathetic.
Oh, save the rich old white dudes, they are so downtrodden!
The caption was fairly obvious and trying to paint everyone with your brush isn’t going to work for anyone but the fanatical cronies you and EP seem to have built up … or created.

  4. flingthecow says:

It’s implying all the old white guys are still fundamentally racist, even if they pretend they are not.

    • jellybeans says:

      You forgot to all-cap OLD.
      As in:
Obama is black and McCain is OLD – which of these descriptors will most adversely affect performance?
Reply: As with sexual intercourse; the presidency will be adversely affected by the advanced age of the subject in question not the race or ethnicity.

      • ema says:

Yes, “sexual intercourse” is exactly what Obama will do to the country if he gets in!

        • Brandon_ha says:

please it regularly for four years?

          • ema says:

So you are saying that is what George Bush did?

            • Seth says:

No, Bush anally raped the country for eight years, roughly, without lube. There’s a big difference. I think its sad how a small minority of people are so stubborn they can’t admit they were wrong to support the man. Being able to admit when you made a mistake is a large part of being an adult. Go ahead, admit you made a mistake by supporting Bush. We won’t ridicule you for it, and you will feel so much better without all that cognitive dissonance interfering with your thought process.

              • ema says:

Well I know he anally raped the terrorists who want us dead – he gets major points for that.

                • hergieburbur says:

Really? You KNOW this? Or you saw the media report the capture and deaths of people labeled as terrorists? I am not saying they are or they aren’t, but people seem to forget that a lot of these “terrorists who want us dead” are pissed because we invaded their homeland, and would have been perfectly fine leaving us alone if we had stayed out of there. We created a lot of our own problems over there with Shrubs foreign policy.

                  • TheLarrikin says:

                    I don’t think Iraq caused 9/11.

And if we’re referring to Israel, that was long before, and not just the US.

Also, ema probably got one of those dirty pop-ups with the pics – you know, Bush giving a peace sign to the camera while… well… dammit. *pokes out mind’s eye*

                  • aw says:

It seems to me that we all see what the media wants us to see. We don’t get to see the good that we’ve done either. And I’m not talking about the emails that get passed around with all of the pictures and patriotic words and music. I mean the stuff that isn’t controversial. And what about the televised beheadings of Americans? I guess it wasn’t terrorists that were performing those, huh? Or how about when they flew planes into buildings here in our homeland? That wasn’t terrorists, right? As much as I dislike how Bush has handled his second term, if he didn’t do anything after 9/11, he would have gotten raked across the coals. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

                    • hergieburbur says:

Actually, if you read my post clearly, you would see that I did NOT say that none of them are terrorists, NOR did I say that we’ve done no good there. I ALSO didn’t say anything about 9/11 (how many of them were Iraqi BTW?) I merely said not all of them are terrorists, some of them are just trying to defend their homeland (regardless of how despicable their methods) from an invading force. And once again, though I know I will never get an answer, exactly what did Iraq have to do with 9/11? You can make that argument for afghanistan (where I think we should be), but not for Iraq. Iraq is about two things: Money (both oil money and defense spending), and revenge. Its that simple.

How much more good could we have done spending those billions elsewhere, like on education or healthcare?

                      • Wendy says:

Amen. I am quite certain that the money spent on the war could have found a cure for AIDS as well as cancer. And if not a cure, then certainly some very excellent treatment.

                      • TheLarrikin says:

If I had a ‘ruler’ of any type killing off millions of the populace, I’d count myself lucky to have someone step in and help.

                        • Judith says:

Sorry to be pedantic Larrikin – but where do you get this idea that ‘millions’ of people were dying under Saddam’s rule? Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m under the impression that Iraq, while corrupt, was doing much better under his rule than they are now. We (and by ‘we’ I mean your laughably ridiculous president and our brown-nosing, yellow bellied PM) single handedly went into that country, for no understandable or justifiable reason, and tore out their infrastructure, thereby allowing two factions/tribes/political parties (call them what you will) to rise up and start tearing their own country to shreds. And need I remind you that it was the West that gave Saddam his power in the first place?
If you’re going to try to be all high and mighty about how magnanimous we are for ‘liberating’ the Iraqis, please first explain to me why we have not also stepped in to help to ‘liberate’ all the other countries of the world that have corrupt leaders and suffering populaces (i.e. Zimbabwe). Oh yea, it’s because they don’t have any oil.
                          Aren’t the Iraqis ‘lucky’.

                      • PiMan says:

Zero were Iraqi. Iraq was no more responsible for September 11 than Turkey, or Japan or Italy.
Most of them were Saudi Arabian.

                    • Judith says:

You don’d hear anything about all the ‘good’ that you’ve done because (and here’s the shocker) YOU HAVEN’T DONE ANYONE ANY GOOD. Yea so a few hundred american and british soldiers have ‘given their lives for the greater good’ but what about all the tens of thousands of Iraqi men, women and children who have died? I bet you never hear about that on FOX news.

              • flingthecow says:

                Literally LOL. ;)

          • Kurt says:

            You mean eight ;)

        • jellybeans says:

At least he will be young enough to do it without chemical enhancement … or a tiny forklift.

          • ema says:

Not important to me how the president does or does not have sex… It could be said that younger candidates would be better off with a less stressing occupatons, they may have their minds on other things when there are important decisions to be made, if you know what I mean…

        • Alfred E Newman 1.9.09 says:

And it will be more of the same that we’ve had if McCain is elected, only on a smaller scale.

          I want something different.

    • ema says:

Kind of a mean generalization don’t you think? I’m surprised at PK for letting this one through, they are usually so good at censoring things like this.

  5. Ladypolitik says:

    I LOVE IT.

    • jellybeans says:

Because you also think all black men want to rob you?

      • TheLarrikin says:

Well, perhaps just this one? I don’t necessarily agree with this picture, and was surprised that it got onto the front page, but not _everything_ is a generalisation.

Also, don’t you usually keep your credit cards _in_ your wallet? So… why would you have to check both?…

  6. Scott says:

    Not funny

  7. WilliamCA says:

    Funny…

    WilliamCA

  8. aryannia says:

    LMFAO!

  9. ice_army says:

He’s a politician. Any sane person, after meeting a politician, WOULD be checking for their wallet & credit cards…..

  10. Capt Obvious says:

“In my left pocket I keep one testicle of the American President. In my right pocket, I hide the irony about relegating people of a different race to certain walled-off sections of land patrolled by soldiers. That’s how we roll.”

    • TheLarrikin says:

I guess if Obama gets in, Jesse Jackson can help him out with the left pocket thing… ;)

    • ema says:

what different race? they are the same race, they differ in ideology.

    • jellybeans says:

Gitmo – the “NEW” Japanese internment camps.
At least we were smart enough to have it outsourced to Cuba?

      • lolbammy says:

Um….. you do comprehend the difference between terrorists caught on a battlefield trying to blow other people up…. and the rounding up of thousands of US citizens based solely on ethnicity…. right?

Your “clever” comment ain’t so clever, there, Chester.

        • markmier says:

Um, not all of the “terrorists” at Gitmo were caught on a battlefield trying to blow other people up. In fact, the USA gave a bounty to any Pakistani who turned in anyone else for being a “terrorist.” In other words, Ubamo Q Muhammad was GIVEN MONEY BY THE US to turn in his next-door neighbor, Ahmed T Mandvi, for “terrorist acts” even though Ahmed may have never done anything at all. And now Ahmed is stuck at Gitmo without the ability to protest his illegal incarceration, and without being allowed to talk to his family or a lawyer.

Luckily, it appears that this is starting to change, that alleged terrorists are being allowed to challenge their detention now.

  11. Thor says:

    Brilliant.

  12. D-mac says:

The funny thing is that it is Obama who should be checking his wallet around that guy.

    • Some Random Israeli says:

I LOLed. Actually, Obama’s biggest worry was passing security at Ben Gurion airport: having Hussein as his middle name must have kept him there for hours.

  13. Lolnathan says:

I like how the people who think it is Anti-Obama are like NOOO NOT FUNNY YOU CANT MAKE FUN OF TEH OBAMA. But the people who realize it’s actually a “white people are all racist” lol actually find it funny.

    • hergieburbur says:

Heh. I thought it was pretty good myself. But then, myself and my friends that are various minorities always get on each other about these stereotypes pretty hardcore.

    • flingthecow says:

It’s funny how people can actually explain the joke, but you’ll STILL get people not understanding it.

      • ema says:

We have to take our anti-Obama jokes where we can find them around here…

        • Free2B says:

It’s not anti-Obama. It’s making a funny against Israel’s (very Jewish) prime minister.

          • ema says:

Right, but some have interpreted it as a joke against Obama because he will be taking our money in new taxes if he is elected, so hide your wallet. Hey, it’s all we got…

  14. Joe says:

Oh please, you’re all wrong. The white guy is describing the man-boobs reduction surgery he had a while back.

  15. Tom says:

    Wait…Obama is black?

    This changes -everything-.

If anyone is stealing anyone’s wallet, it’s McCain’s tax policy ideas. Unless you make more than 600,000 a year. In which case, he’s your BEST friend.

Everyone else kinda gets it in the shorts.

My caption for this one (in my head) was something along the lines of Molly Shannon’s character from Superstar. The one that stuffs her hands in her armpits, then smells them. Yeah. That’s all I had.

    • lolbammy says:

Don’t be silly; McCain hasn’t proposed tax hikes for anyone; Obama has.

      • jellybeans says:

Actually … he has clearly stated the income tax hikes are NOT off the table in an effort to shore up social security. He is pulling a Bush SR. and saying no new taxes then saying … well, ok … maybe some new taxes but please don’t call me on that.

  16. Ama says:

There’s a subtle level of of jew joke in this too if you look at it right. I’m thinkin this one get’s sent off to my fave Terrorist!

  17. Evil Pundit says:

Always check your pockets when you meet a corrupt Chicago politician.

  18. Galina says:

It’s funny cause Olmert (the white dude next to Obama) is a bigger thief than all of Harlem put together

    • lolbammy says:

      Um……. “Harlem”, Gracie?

    • Joe says:

He and his countrymen are the thieves of the life of Palestine. http://www.ifamericansknew.org

      • Galina says:

        Palestine? I haven’t heard of such a country….
Does it have a currency? A land? A goverenment?

        • ema says:

Palestine is a term the Romans used to describe a region of the middle east under their rule. It never described a race of people or a culture.

        • Joe says:

Not if Israel has anything to say about it!

          • Evil Pundit says:

            Such irony.

It’s the Palestinian leaders who are solely responsible for the lack of a Palestinian state. If they stopped trying to kill all the Jews they could have their own country tomorrow.

            • Some Random Israeli says:

Palestinian leaders have only started gaining any kind of influence on the political landscape around there in the past few decades.. which they’ve used to faction up and kill each other, of course.

But no, if the zionists hadn’t done back-room deals with the Hashemites and the Brits, there might have conceivably been an Arab-Palestinian state for the past 60 years, alongside a Jewish-Palestinian one.

As things stand now, if Palestinians just sat back and stopped their armed resistance, they’d probably have to look for a new place to live tomorrow.

Oh, and by the way, Jews were calling this place Palestine, too, as late as the ’50s.

  19. US News says:

The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.JohnPowellJohn Powell

    • Free2B says:

“The man who reads nothing at all is better educated than the man who reads nothing but newpapers.” Thomas Jefferson

  20. hueydoc says:

I guess if Obama does not win, he can start his own cult ?

  21. Dani says:

This is pretty funny, I loled. I don’t know why some people are making such a fuss over this, I mean its okay and funny to show Bush as a natzi but this is completely unacceptable!? It’s just a joke, lighten up!

  22. Antonio says:

    IT’S A BLACK JOKE DAMNIT!

    -_-;;

  23. Jason says:

    Is that the Israeli bitch?
