HAW HAW HES OLD!
Not just old…. LOL-d.
Liberal humour is so fresh and original!
Hey, did you hear the latest? BUSH IS DUM LOL
Unoriginal humour = better than no humour at all.
humour fail.
… not your best work. 2/10 at best. Have you been getting enough rest?
WHO CAN REST WHEN THE LIBERAL-DRIVEN MEDIA IS PLOTTING TO OVERTAKE OUR COUNTRY IN A WHIRLWIND OF HIPPIES, SIN, AND DEMOCRACY?!?!?!? LIES LIES LIES LIES LIES AND NOBODY KNOWS ABOUT IT BUT ME! I DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU, TRAITOR, BUT I’M FAR TOO BUSY DISCREDITING EVERY PINKO COMMIE RAG I DISAGREE WITH, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY!!!111 /cruise control
You libtards and your stereotypes …
Hey, it’s easier than thinking for yourself!
When did the word ‘liberal’ become an insult in the US? The word ‘liberty’ literally means freedom, and you have a pretty famous statue called…err, liberty. The fact that Fox news (there’s unbiased media for you) and similar right-wing extremists have branded it as an insult shows just how much those guys have lost their way.
“Liberal” became an insult when leftists began using the word to describe themselves.
I really don’t get the word “libtard.” It’s based off of “liberal,” correct? But there’s no “t” in liberal. However, there *IS* a “t” in conservative. So “conservatard” flows better, doesn’t it?
You really are a libtard. It is half of liberal (lib) and half of retard (tard). So, libtard, there you are, an explanation. I must say though, I prefer douchenozzle when referring to my friends across the aisle.
I think you totally missed the insult there.
I got what he was trying to say, I just think he failed at doing in. His lead in is all wrong. For that matter, crotchwaffle is way better than “conservatard” will ever be. Stick to the convention. Douchenozzles vs. Crotchwaffles. Ready? Fight!
I think he actually did go right over your head there. Never mind, you’re a conservative, we can’t expect you to understand. You see, we’re elitists.
You conservatics and your self-righteousness…
Scoring bonus points for flippantly injecting the word “propaganda” into as many sentences as possible FTW!
7/10 Americans believe the Media are pushing for Obama for president.
What does 7/10 ths of an American look like? What part is missing? Is this similar to 3/5ths? Does Jesse Jackson know about this?
I don’t know what your response is supposed to mean… but it was an article brushed over today on the radio (one of those things where they cut out your music for words… stupid words…).
Seth looks like 7/10 of an American. Speaking of Seth, Where is he? I bet EP is missing his crossfire buddy.
to one below, lets learn how to spell DUMB first
this isn’t age related … you just always jump to that conclusion because you lack originality.
The face he is making could be indigestion. Everyone can eat a bad lunch you know. Young or old; tummy aches know no boundaries.
awesome
YAWN !
haha thats a good one
Me, too, Senator. Me too….
This just in! Breaking news! John McCain is old!
“John McCain is old” LOLs are the equivalent of “Barack Obama is black” lols.
Pul-eeeeese.
Has anyone read the latest TIME article on McCain and Bush titled “Frenemies”? Seems McCain may have messed his nest by not running with Kerry four years ago.
Nobody cares about the media’s anti-McCain propaganda.
How about Obama’s blatant lie in Israel a couple of days ago?
Where’s the MSM on this? From Obama’s press conference today in Israel:
Obama said: “Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don’t have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don’t obtain a nuclear weapon.”
Problem is, he isn’t on that committee at all.
Democrat members of Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee: Dodd (Ch), Johnson, Reed Schumer, Bayh, Carper, Menendez, Akaka, Brown, Casey, and Tester.
A blatant fabrication, on record. Why aren’t the media covering that?
Oh, that’s right, it’s more important to speculate about what McCain might have done four years ago.
Well, it sure is lucky that you’re fighting for the truth where it matters most – punditkitchen. I’m sure O’Reilly would be proud.
If you had READ the article and not just gone off on your rant, you might have seen that it is pretty balanced toward your boy John. It points out in great detail all the ways that McCain went his own independent – yea, maverick – way and needled Bush every chance he got prior to the 2004 election. He stood a very good chance of making it into the executive branch if he had taken Kerry’s offer. It was only after he discovered how much he needed Bush’s base that he came back into the GOP fold. The article was even handed and made me think twice about McCain. He really was on the ball back in the day. Once upon a time, he was a viable option.
But you won’t be swayed. Pity.
I’m not particularly interested in what TIME magazine has to say.
As for McCain, I think he has a much better chance of getting into the executive this year than he would have hypothetically had in 2004. Kerry was never going to win.
Obama might yet win, but I have hope that enough voters will see through him by November. It isn’t so much that McCain is a great candidate — many Republicans don’t even like him. It’s that Obama is so radioactively bad that almost any alternative is better, even Hillary.
Oh well, as long as you’re not interested in the truth, that’s fine then.
The mainstream media has little to do with truth. That’s why I don’t care what they say.

Glad to see someone on the other side of the fence realizes this at least.
Don’t interpret that as pro-Obama either. No joke he’s a liar. Unfortunately, I’d rather have someone in the house who is planning on getting us out of these interventionist wars, rather than borrow our way into Chinese-overlord-dom
I think you gotta listen to the MMM aswell as the other stuff. None of it is 100% reliable. Try the BBCs international news though – they are always fairly reliable and unbiased.
True, but around July, the only international news I could get from them involving the united states was about… The hot dog eating contest. No, I’m not exaggerating. That was it. I was so mortified I wouldn’t speak English for the rest of the day. (I’m out of the country)
So your saying on this international news site:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/default.stm
all they had was hotdogs in july?
Surely you jest? The BBC is even worse than many of the American MSM.
A variety of sites on the Internet are the best way to approach news gathering.
dude, you’re such a stereotype
If I can agree with you for one second (and one second only), I think that main point here is that anyone who gets their news from any single source, or any set of sources that presents only one side, is setting themselves up to be ignorant. As with most things, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
We’ll see what happens in November.. We’ll chat then, ok?
I do recall that in 2004, my “conservative” friends were talking about us being good losers.
We’ll see what happens if the tables are turned.
Either candidate is a viable option. Unfortunately, most people will have to hold their noses when they vote for either one of them. I just happen to believe that Obama smells worse.
Eh, not really funny…
Yawn, McCain is old, blah blah. Politics is about important issues and comedy is about not using the same joke until it’s dead.
No, using the same joke until it’s dead is called “Leno”
Amen to that.
I’m not sure if it’s about his age, or just the way his face looks. Kinda like he has indigestion (duh).
You don’t need to be old to get indigestion, I’m 22 and I get it.
Thank you. I’ve had terrible digestion for years, so screw you to everyone who’s insisting that that must mean that I’m old. I laughed at the joke because he looked like he had indigestion.
Oh but I forgot, you all have to pretend that all Republicans are oppressed on this site, so you have to spin any joke relating to a Republican as being an attack.
I agree. The look on his face would say “indigestion” even if he were 20 years old.
I dont think its a ‘McCain is old’ thing, young people get indigestion too. Therefore it is funny. And I LOLed.
Guy With Indigestion ‘08!
Apparently just showing a picture of McCain is mocking him for being old, we should make sure all future lols are either photoshopped to remove wrinkles or are of McCain back in the 70s.
“John McCain is old” LOLs are the equivalent of “Barack Obama is black” lols.”
No, it’s the equivalent of saying Obama is too young and inexperienced, pretty much all that McCain’s fans have been doing since it became clear he’d be the Democratic nominee.
And it’s just as true. McCain is old, and Barack Obama is too inexperienced.
Alternatively, McCain is mature and experienced, Obama is youthful and energetic.
Although personally if you look at a biog of Obama I think he experienced enough to do the job. But McCain is just too damn old and ill to be running the world.
But Obama is just too dam young and foolish to be running the world.
Or the US part, anyway.
Check out the Obama political cartoons ( good and bad) on Cagle.MSNBC.com.
At least some of those are funny.
The jibjab video is funny too, they hit all candidates complete with Obama frolicking in the woods in tight pants flinging flowers and glitter through the air then riding on a unicorn! Sooo funny. They do a job on McCain, Hillary and Bush of course. But at least they are fair, unlike here.
JibJab is both funniest and fairest.
Young? Yes. Foolish? Not so much.
He definitely doesn’t seem as serious as the other candidates, the ones we have now or the ones we have had in the past. He’s something really new. But that doesn’t mean he’s “foolish”, you’re right. He might be just what we need in this country. Isn’t that the joke definition of insanity, to do what you’ve always done and expect something different from what you’ve been getting? I am not really a fan of either the democratic or the republican party, but if I have to pick between only those two, I say let’s try Obama. He can’t possibly be any worse than what we’ve had in the past (not just our current president but many presidents before him, both democrat and republican) and because he is so different, he just might be better.
If by “different” you mean “creepy in a megalomaniacal way”, I guess you might be right.
Different isn’t always good.
fear of change – such a stereotype
Change for its own sake — such a stereotype.
Change for its own sake? No, change because the current administration have screwed things up such a lot. Nobody ever said it was change for it’s own sake. That’s such a weak argument, just assuming for no reason what our motives and philosopies are, then mocking those presumed ideals. Shows a real lack of thought on behalf of you reactionary Republicans.
I think both candidates are “creepy in a megalomanical way”.
Let’s face it, we’re screwed either way. Both the democratic party and the republican party suck eggs. And most of us, we don’t really have a say in who becomes president anyway. I don’t know about your state, but my state is going to go republican no matter what I do.
So I’m going to vote liberatarian. Just to make my voice heard, just to say that there is a decent number of people in my state who believe our politicians should keep these principles in mind.
I’d prefer a Libertarian, too.
But I end up supporting what I see as the lesser evil.
How about admitting the surge worked, but then saying if he had to do it again he would not? That is foolish to me.
Honestly, when I have debates with my douchenozzle friends who are political science types as I am, we all agree, in an ivory tower kind of way, that Obama has made many foolish (rookie) errors. How he handled the Rev. Wrong scandle, the Father Wrong scandal, having his kids on TV and then pulling them back, having his wife out front and then complaining because people are criticizing her, making himself look like the leading candidate for presidency of the EU, and others. Not any one of those things would be a reason to not necessarily vote for a person, but it does seems to support the idea that he is foolish. And has anyone else notice that he regrets a lot of things? THere was a stretch there where he seemed to be releasing a daily barrage of his regrets.
Ah , it’s gonna be so fun to read these posts after the elections and see the whining when Obama loses! The press was reporting months ahead that Gore/Kerry had already won and the Republicans shoul not even bother voting!
It’s gonna be fun….
you know, gore actually did win…
I see that even eight years later some people are still sore losers. One more time, the rules have been the rules for a long time. The time to complain about the use of the electoral college was before the contest. Just like a douchenozzle to want to change the rules after the race had already been run.
Like the bags of low income votes found in a Florida election official’s car that then could not be counted? Like people turning away low income voters in Florida?
Don’t start saying these are made up – I lived in Florida at the time and it was all over the news down there. Jeb delivered the state to his brother as promised by whatever means.
You’re just making things up.
Gore lost. Get over it.
Don’t forget Gore trying to discount tens of thousands of overseas military votes ! Mostly because he knew damn well who they DID NOT vote for!!!!
Gore tried to steal the election, but he failed.
Hooray for the Constitution and the Shpreme Court!
In Bush’s brother’s state! America! Fuck yeah!
I wish it was over right now.
If you wish it was over right now, you are not a true fan of politics. This is better than that Super Bowl for me. I love this. I wish we did it every year. I love this free flow of dialogue (most of the time). I wish more people were this into it all of the time instead of just every four years.
Well, I guess it can be fun. I just cant help but wonder if the economy is suffering because no one knows yet who will be in the white house next… I think things will get back on track after the election.
If I can put on my economics hat…there, the economy is suffering for a multitude of reasons. Mostly out of fear of the worsening credit, housing, banking, and oil woes. We can all debate who is to blame, but those, and the weak dollar, are the main reasons for the slackening economy. And economies are generally affected in a longer run cycle than would be severely effected by the election. We can look at the stock market for a better idea of any jitters related to the election. When we do that we see that the market has come down mainly due to the pressures listed above. Historically, a bullish market, in years of presidential uncertainty (meaning no one is sure who will win) kind of flattens out until they know who will win. Then the market adjusts and, all else being equal, continues whatever trend it was in before the election.
%#@&* D key !
