OK, there’s no way McCain is Bush 2.0. McCain is the most liberal of the Republican Senators; he and Bush butted heads pretty hard in the past.

Obama’s flip-flopped a whole lot as well, not to mention outright lying. For instance, he told South Dakota he was against abortion. Yeah, most liberal senator ever against abortion… right.

As for Carter, he also led us into the biggest recession we’ve ever had. Yes, bigger than this one.

Actually no. From the CBS News article:

“While yellowcake alone is not considered potent enough for a so-called “dirty bomb” – a conventional explosive that disperses radioactive material – it could stir widespread panic if incorporated in a blast. Yellowcake also can be enriched for use in reactors and, at higher levels, nuclear weapons using sophisticated equipment.”

OH NO! WIDESPREAD PANIC! *ahem* Sorry about that. It continues…

“U.N. inspectors documented and safeguarded the yellowcake, which had been stored in aging drums and containers since before the 1991 Gulf War. There was no evidence of any yellowcake dating from after 1991, the official said.”

In other words, this is the stuff we already knew about, and it is well documented at this point that Iraq never had the technology to make this into a warhead. Yes, dirty bombs could be created, but *knock on wood* they haven’t figured out how to get a conventional bomb over here, much less a radioactive one.

The explanation for this: The guy espouses the same ideals and policies of the B admin since his magnificent flip-flop of 2006. McCain has a much better grasp on the english language, which is what really makes the joke. As for it not having much to do with what is going on in the picture, I don’t know what the details are of this picture being taken, so no joke there.

I thought referencing ET “I shall heal this country with my index finger” or a children of men “Pull my finger!” would still have been funny, and I love the picard reference above This just seemed more appropriate…

Actually, Obama is all about quiet point releases, rather than prominent major releases. 2.1 was when ditched Wright, 2.2 when he quit his church, 2.3 when he rejected a year of emphatic promises to use public financing, and so on.

Obama 2.35 is hsi recent scrubbing of his old Iraw War statements from his website.
