HA HA! That kid should live in my neighborhood. I’ve taken to hiding from the Girl/Boy Scouts when it’s selling time….
My dad said the same thing would happen in Vietnam. You’d be gaurding a convoy, the road would come under attack up ahead and everyone would stop (convoys could be a mile plus long). So the troops in the back would take up combat positions and wait and a few minutes later several kids would come out of the bushes selling Coke. So, they’d all get one. Then they’d be drinking ice cold Cokes bought off village kids in the rear while listening to gunfire half a mile up the line.
Personally, I always thought that’d make for a pretty cool, albeit very distasteful and surreal advertisement.
