  1. fillerbunny says:

This is what I imagine Mouthpiece and the rest of the Neolithic crew picture in their mind when they think “Libtard”

  2. Josiah says:

    lolz so true!

  3. Evil Pundit says:

It must be sooo annoying that Bush keeps on outsmarting the “intelligent” Democrats.

    • Nekopawed says:

Outsmarting or being stubborn with a veto power…hmm.

    • Freep says:

I’m still trying to figure out how someone who is supposedly a drooling moron somehow misled all those Dems into voting for the war in Iraq. Moron. Yet Mastermind. Hm.

      • fillerbunny says:

Hi. I’d like to introduce you to the following gentlemen: Karl Rove. Richard “Dick” Cheney. “Scooter” Libby. Richard Perle. Tom “The Hammer” DeLay. Andrew Card. Ken Mehlman. Paul Wolfowitz. Denny “Meat Puppet” Hastert. Josh “Mustache of Liberty” Bolton. Ari Fleischer. Oh, and Rupert Murdoch and everyone at Fox News, Judith Miller, and, well, basically any executive in charge of a major news station, cable or “public”. These fine, fine individuals all coached the “Mastermind” and mounted a coordinated propaganda campaign that cowed most Democrats into supporting the invasion or being guaranteed the loss of their seat in Congress. All “Mastermind” had to do was not screw up certain carefully crafted speeches and bask in fabricated gravitas, and even then that only had about a 70% success rate at the time. But whatever…

        • Bored says:

Where people get that Bush is doing all this on his own I dunno. He has a whole fscking political SWAT team ready to act. More of a figurehead than anything.

        • flingit says:

Whoops fillerbunny, you’re using those ‘facts’ again. The Pundit kitchen Republicans won’t like that.

        • Freep says:

Really? So your average Democrat would rather kill 6 million Iraqis than lose their cushy seat in Congress?

Wow, that’s some party of principle you got there.

        • TheLarrikin says:

if fillerbunny was president, we would have laid back and took it in the ass. And we would have LIKED IT, dammit!!!

          • fillerbunny says:

First off, I would have paid heed to what Richard Clarke, the CIA and FBI were telling me and done my damnedest to make sure 9/11 never happened. I would have then used the evidence and suspects gathered to show al-Qaeda needed to be dealt with as a threat to world piece and focused on apprehending or killing one Osama bin-Laden and his inner circle of advisors in Afghanistan, hopefully with sanction from the world community and not wimping out at the last second because I like holding the hand of members of the Royal Family he belongs to. Yeah, Hussein would still be in control in Iraq, but over 4,000 American troops would still be alive and, with any luck, anyone connected with the PNAC would be pan-handling…. Oh, and Freep? I’m one of the DFHs that said Democratic capitulation on the war would still find a way to bite them in the ass; thankfully, however, I don’t live in the Machiavellian world of politics, where you opt to vote with the majority to cover your ass so they can’t go after your seat by making it a campaign issue. I’m sorry- were those too many words for your little brains?

            • Jane says:

You ignorant slut, don’t you know women shouldn’t be playing on the internet! How dare you find facts to support your arguments! Sorry, like you I couldn’t resist. ;)

            • L says:

I love it when you own the uber-Republicans. Although something tells me there’s not much point wasting your time on them.

            • eddiepscetti says:

Actually, had your precious Democrap Bilbo Clinton done his bit when he was President and gotten Bin Laden, all of this would be moot. He had the CIA intelligence briefs and knew where was he holed up, and still missed him. So now that Bush has been trying to deal with him (admittedly unsuccessfully) he is copping all the crap. People’s ‘longview’ seems awful short-sighted to me.

            • TheLarrikin says:

I… I was actually just poking a little fun at you. Albeit, it was a bit harsher than I expected it to come off.

I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I would dare to say that I don’t identify with any party that is currently in existance.

I support Americans. I support life. I support the loss of life for the maintenance of Freedom. I support the rights of citizens in countries not as prosperous as our own, despite our ebbing economy. I support eradicating dictatorial figureheads who use their power to rape and destroy their countries.

I support informative decision making, and I support being safe over being sorry. I support self-awareness, independent politicking, and rejecting accepting egregious axioms of society.

9/11 could have been stopped. It could have bee stopped in Clinton’s presidency, when Osama Bin Laden was presented on a silver platter. I’m bitter about that. Yes, 9/11 could have been stopped, but most people can’t think back that far.

And we all have brains roughly the same size. Despite that, I am smarter than Bush, as I am smarter than (probably) you as well as most people. Let’s not resort to posting IQs, but rather allow our discussion to assert it for us.

              Thanks.

              • fillerbunny says:

I appreciate the, well, apology. I guess what you posted should have been read as sarcasm, it just didn’t have any way (to me) of being identified as such. I’m glad to hear you are an independent thinker, and agree with most of what you just listed. Now, as to this claim about being smarter than me…

            • TheLarrikin says:

Forgot to mention, I like you, too. I didn’t want to come off sounding too harshly.

And try to get your facts straight a little better.

              • Jane says:

Props to Larrikin for dissenting without attacking. Hard to do on anonymous message boards, and I don’t know about anyone else but I appreciate the attempt even if I don’t always agree with you.

              • fillerbunny says:

Out of curiosity, which facts would those be?

                • TheLarrikin says:

Simply that the Republicans blocked Bill Clinton from obtaining Osama bin Laden. I think eddiepscetti posted the link above.

                  • fillerbunny says:

did you, by chance, check out the Snopes link I posted?

                    • TheLarrikin says:

That incident is duly noted, but does not negate the fact that Sudan offered him up for crackerjack. It would have been great if he had been deterred in Clinton’s strike, but to refuse to accept him, regardless of the fact that he was (and is) one of the greatest terrorist masterminds on the face of the planet and of all time, is unacceptable.

            • Freep says:

When most of the sentences start with “I would have–” it’s usually a clear time-waster. Too bad everyone who REALLY knows how to run the world is busy screwing around on the internet in their cubicles. Or in their jammies.

  4. mouse says:

It makes me cry a little how true that is.

  5. Lethal Larry says:

    “…still looks smarter than bush”

    …who DOESN’T??!?

    • lolbama says:

      Yeeeaaaaaahhh….. it’s not as if there’s a candidate that thinks there’s, um, 58 states or anything…

      • fillerbunny says:

No, but there is one who was talking about the 58 PRIMARY CONTESTS and, probably due to more than normal exhaustion, slipped and said ’states.’ Just trying to stop Teh St00pid…

        • Evil Pundit says:

Nope. I’ve seen the video, and Obama was definitely referring to states.

Funny how it’s proof of stupidity when Bush makes a verbal slip, but not when Obama does it.

    • Steve says:

I think the people that look less smart are the people who ran the Gore and Kerry campaigns. Bush had no business winning. Do not get me wrong, I do not support Gore or Kerry, but as a poltical scientist, I was truly amazed that a person coming from a fairly successful eight year term and a person who could challenge Bush’s first four years could not seal the deal. I think there must be a lot of stupid looking people in those campaign staffs. I am not trying to start a discussion on who should or should not have won, but in trying to read the tea leaves, I did not predict a Bush win either time.

  6. hueydoc says:

Actually, he looks just like any other Liberal mouthpiece!!!!

Vote Republican — Because we ALL can’t be on welfare !!!

    • linox says:

Liberal mouthpiece? He’s a comedian — the only reason he doesn’t spend much time making fun of Democrats is that they haven’t been, you know, doing anything! If you want more comedians to speak against the Dems, put them in power and watch the jokes fly! It’s not like comedians laid off Clinton (though he was a pretty easy target).

      • Evil Pundit says:

Plenty of Democrats in Congress, being corrupt and doing other funny stuff.

        • Jeanne says:

I guess somebody should tell the Democrats to get involved in more, and more amusing, scandals so The Daily Show can be more “fair and balanced,” eh?

They’re comedians who do topical humor…they have to wait for politicians and public figures to make the first move. Recently, Republicans have had more, and more amusing, scandals and gaffes. Fox News makes more of them than CNN does. That’s why all those liberal late night comedians take shots at the right-wing. You’ll notice that they didn’t avoid making fun of Spitzer or Paterson. Must be because those two’re Republi…oh, but they’re not.

          You lose.

          • lolbama says:

Stewart is playing to his audience. Period. The idea that the Dems have done nothing worth poking fun at is absurd. Daily show watchers want a nice ideological stroking.

            • Evil Pundit says:

              Exactly.

The Democrats have plenty of Congressional scandals — cheap home loans, deadbeat Senators, corrupt Senators, and much more.

It’s just that most of the media and all the liberals are blind to the bad side of their own political team.

      • lolbama says:

Um, actually… Stewart tried to be an equal-opportunity satirist.. but the lefties in his audience can’t appreciate humor that targets their side.

The Dems control both houses of Congress and are running an extremely flawed candidate. The idea that no humor can be had out of this is just silly.

Interestingly, the other night JS had to reassure the audience that it was “OK” to laugh at Obama….

        • Jane says:

He also has John McCain on his show a lot and McCain keeps coming back so he obviously doesn’t feel like it’s a hostile atmosphere to his politics.

          • lolbama says:

…. none of which contradicts what I said. I didn’t say anything about Stewart being “openly hostile”. He generally makes fun of people and ideas that his audience disagrees with; he generally leaves people and ideas that his audience agrees with alone.

          • Steve says:

This is an excellent point. Humor knows no party. I wish that everyone would understand that. Humor, by nature, assaults authority. It just happens that, in terms of the President, the Republicans are in authority. And, it also just happens that most comedians will tell you that they have abhorred and targeted authority in many ways, including humor, their entire life. Jane and I do not agree on much, but on this we can clink glasses.

  7. Sarchasm cat. says:

Another joke about our president’s intellegence…. how original.

  8. trusts says:

    bush looks smarter than bush.
