At no point did they criticize Nancy soley because of gender. Yes, an inherently gendered joke with the sexual reference, but that’d be like saying every sex joke is sexist in of itself.
And William Shatner will sell more music CDs than any of us likely ever will. He’s still a horrible singer.
Uh, because everytime anyone can’t think of another way to criticize a woman, they reduce her to sexuality. Dislike her policies and dislike her if you want, it’s not like I’m a huge fan of hers, but it’s not even like she’s some clearly promiscuous person like Bill Clinton. Steve’s joke was just below the belt and low class. Of course, I really have no idea why I’m even *attempting* to have an intelligent exchange on here, particularly with Steve, who makes the same tired, neo-con statements anytime he can, so I’m done with it.
Alright, sorry if I bothered. I just get tired of men – usually myself in particular – being called Sexist or something when the other person has no argument. Especially when it seems women are treated better, in the big picture, than men yet I all I hear is an outcry when ever something happens. I know their are good examples out their, the texan polygamy event being one, and then the fact I live in one of the more liberal, intelligent states in the US (oregon) but I cant help but get a bit angry whenever its used because it seems like women have this odd carte blanch to walk all over me.

To Bored- actually William Shatner’s album” Has Been” that he recorded with Ben Folds
is excellent. It’s mostly spoken word over atmospheric music with a few surprises(like Henry Rollins) He doesn’t really try to sing- it’s just pure Shatner vibe. Oh, and Bush’s tarnished legacy will be rightfully shared with the rest of the Cons for a long, long time.
