  1. Lallz says:

He’s not an idiot, I just dont think he’s verbally competent.

  2. ie says:

Now THAT’S funny…and sad that he’s so powerful.

  3. LadyJadys says:

The real idiots are the ones who voted him back into office for a second term…

  4. ema says:

He is not an idiot, the whole hate Bush thing is politically motivated to win the White House back from the repubs. Why not let it go?

    • TheLarrikin says:

They found someone with a funny-looking face, and decided that it’ll be funny, whether it’s true or not. Until he’s gone. It’s not funny, it’s old and unoriginal.

Make fun of someone worth making fun of – if you’re just looking for a face, take Pelosi. Gawd, she’s hott! And not hott as in attractive, but hott, as in, ‘I’d torch her.’

Besides, Bush has a higher approval rating than Congress…

    • gretel says:

He may not be a certifiable idiot, but if you disagree that his intellectual fluidity and prowess are dwarfed by most if not all presidents of recent history, you are kidding yourself. Clinton, if you set his politics or scandals aside, is an intellect of truly exceptional proportions. The president needs to be exceptional, not just “not an idiot.”

      • Demosthenes says:

Bush isn’t a great speaker. That’s it. My dad can’t always speak right. Nor can my brother. But they both have IQ’s of over 135. The part of the brain that controls speach is totally seperate from the part of the brain that controls intellect. And I’m tired of the true idiots (the drive-by media) tearing apart politicians based on stupid things like that when there are other much more important things to be discussing. Insults are airy and lack substance. If you don’t like someone, back it up with substantial issues. Not insults and propoganda. If America could ever do this, we wouldn’t have a political structure that is afraid of saying what they actually think and mean, and we would see our politician’s true colors. And I think those colors would be something along the lines of nasty shit green.

  5. fillerbunny says:

    HAW!!!!!

  6. Nekopawed says:

I think it should be more along the lines of
and if I have an html fail… blank /blank
    while(fail)
    {
    fail=!try.again();
    }

  7. Kynedd says:

Idiot, no… that’s being mean to idiots.

  8. j says:

Ok, so he can’t finish a sentence and makes up words. There’s a disconnect between his mouth and brain. On the other hand, has anyone heard Obama when he doesn’t have a prepared speech? I’ve never heard “Umm..Uh..” so many times in my life. Looking at DC and the candidates now makes me wonder…Is this the best we got?

    • TheLarrikin says:

Oh, it’s not. We’ve two minority picks on the Democrat side so one of them will win, and a majority pick on the Republican side so he’ll win. This will be a disappointing election, either way it goes this year. :(

  9. jamisings says:

Correction, he’s the BEST president we’ve had in years. Anyone who blames him for our problems doesn’t understand that it’s CONGRESS that’s at fault, not Bush.

One day you’ll all see, he’ll turn out to be right. At least Saddam is no longer alive to throw six year old girls into wood chippers for entertainment. And at least Bush is not a RAPIST like Bill Clinton. (Go get the book Target: Caught In The Crosshairs Of Bill & Hillary Clinton and see what scumbags the white trash Clintons are.)

    • me says:

Hah, you’re funny. (That is, you’re a fail comment.)

    • Lallz says:

I preferred his Daddy personally, but like I said idiot he is not. If he was how did he get into Yale? And the excuse of his Dad being the President wouldn’t wash because at that time he wasn’t.

      • Marl says:

Getting into any school is not hard at all when both your father and grandfather are alumni.

While at Yale, Bush received a 2.35 grade point average (out of 4.00). He has even joked publicly about his poor college performance, saying at a speech at his alma mater, “To the C students, I say, ‘You too can be president of the United States.” (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,25229,00.html).

I’m sure there could be more here about a life of mediocrity, but that would just be tldr.

        • TheLarrikin says:

He’s got a sense of humour, then. That’s a plus.

I was a ‘C’ student, and dropped college to run a number of high-profile, publicly trading companies. And I’m not even thirty. Whoopty-freakin-doo. You can do what you want, if you know how to set your mind to it.

You don’t have to be the smartest, simply, surround yourself with smart people (even if they make you look bad). You don’t have to know how to do everything, simply, surround yourself with people who do. Clinton was horrible in this aspect (he wanted to look good).

      • rtheom says:

Getting any position anywhere is easy with the right connections, of which he has many… obviously…

      • falco says:

As Gary Trudeau once said, GW Bush gives a new meaning to “assisted living.”

    • Nicole says:

I love how people make stuff up like crazy when they are offended. Congress doesn’t really have much to do with it, other than granting Bush the privilege to go to war. Honestly, what has Bush done that’s advanced this country any? All he’s done is move us closer to being a third world country!

      You sir, are a moron.

      • Tinn says:

How does Congress have “not much to do with it”?

Doesn’t Article I of the Constitution set the powers of Congress, which includes a lot of powers named in Section 8. Haven’t more Constitutional amendments granted Congress additional powers?

        And then some…

Doesn’t Congress have authority over financial and budgetary matters, through the power to “lay and collect taxes (and they LOVE that part), duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.”

Doesn’t the Sixteenth Amendment give power of taxation to INCLUDE income taxes?

Doesn’t the Constitution also give Congress power over appropriating funds, with all government spending required to be included in congressional appropriations? Or give Congress i the authority to borrow money on the credit of the United States, regulate commerce with foreign nations and among the states, and coin money?

Or how about where it also gives Congress an important role in national defense, including the exclusive power to declare war, to raise and maintain the armed forces, and to make rules for the military?

Or establish post offices and post roads, issue patents and copyrights, fix standards of weights and measures, establish courts inferior to the Supreme Court, and “To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.”?

The power to admit new states to the Union?

        The “Oversight Committee”?

        To veto the President?

So I ask again, Congress doesn’t have much to do with it?

What have they done to advance the Country?

…Oh yeah, they chased after some Baseball players. Boooyyyyy, I sure am glad they are looking out for us.

        • bittervoter says:

Yes, but, the balance of powers has been screwed up. Back in 2001 one, Congress gave Bush UNCONSTITUTIONAL powers to wage war at any time, any place anywhere, without consulting them. So while they have responsibility for getting us into this mess, shrub’s the one who lied about why we invaded Iraq and makes a fool of us all on a daily basis. Now that congress is finally standing up to him sometimes. Bush vetos every congressional bill he doesn’t like.
I agree that there’s a lot of stockholm syndrome going on here. Obama’s not perfect, but he’s the best we have, and a damn sight better than dubbya.

    • gormenghastian@hotmail.com says:

Mmmm, dranked that koolaid, didja? You poor, poor deluded fool. You and your kind are suffering from the GOP version of “Stockholm Syndrome”. The truth is just too painful, isn’t it.

  10. Shan says:

    Isn’t this getting old yet?

  11. XavierN says:

Wow, some of these comments… talk about denial… and these are people with access to the ‘net.
At last, those dead enders Cheney was talking about? I think I found ‘em, they’re here, only thing is… they’re his “base”.

  12. Dictionary whiz says:

I think Bush definitely holds public office, but I do agree that he is uneducated, ignorant and a ill-informed person.

    idiot. (n.d.). Webster’s Revised Unabridged Dictionary. Retrieved June 12, 2008, from Dictionary.com website: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/idiot

Id”i*ot\, n. [F. idiot, L. idiota an uneducated, ignorant, ill-informed person, Gr. ?, also and orig., a private person, not holding public office, fr. ? proper, peculiar. See Idiom.]

    1. A man in private station, as distinguished from one holding a public office. [Obs.]
    etc

“Reader, suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But I repeat myself.” [Mark Twain, c.1882]

  13. Radiance says:

Bo-ring. No matter what you think of the guy, this lol is just a big bag of meh.

  14. lolbama says:

It’s always amusing to see people dumber, less educated and more ignorant than Bush chatter about how stupid he is.

  15. Steve says:

It’s always amusing to see people dumber, less educated and more ignorant than Bush chatter about how stupid he is.

Amen to that. And people think Obamessiah is going to improve things? Come out of the closet and read a book.

  16. Plutogirl says:

    Too funny

  17. ema says:

No new terror attacks on the US or American interests abroad… I think he can take credit for that and we owe him thanks not derision. That is all.

    • squirreludecker says:

you honestly think bush had anything to do with whether or not terrorists decide to attack?

like he really called his buddies the BinLadens and told them “can you make sure your son doesnt attack again until i get out of office? it would make me look bad”

  18. Evil Pundit says:

Only idiots believe that Bush is an idiot.

  19. Dan says:

Obama is this guy’s cousin! LOL

  20. Goran says:

    “What – me worry?”
    - Alfred E. Neuman

  21. GW Crawford says:

Bush has admitted he wasted a lot of his earlier life – he knows damn well he has connections and could have done better earlier

The man WAS an alcoholic but, through sheer will, beat the bottle

Do I agree with his policies? A great number, no.
Do I think he butchers the English language when he talks? Hell yes! (and I hate to invoke Godwin’s Law or any variation thereof, but pick between the two WWII leaders: the clear, well spoken, teetotalling commoner Hitler or the lisping, slurring borderline alcoholic well-connected aristocrat Churchill)

    And as to his intelligence?
When he first ran for office he got whipped. And the reason people gave for not voting for him was that he came across as too high faluting and intellectual. His ‘gosh, shucks persona’ is a facade.

Secondly, as to his intelligence. He outsmarted all the Dems TWICE. How’s that make you feel? Being outwitted by the slackwit? (insert donkey HEE-HAW sound here)

Then you have Obama, who cannot understand why the lackwits and yahoos of the Appalachians won’t acquiesce and vote for him as the golden child messiah who will save them all

People don’t have a problem with intellectual leaders; they have a problem with leaders who actually hold them in utter contempt
