This really is what’s wrong with this country. You have nothing substantial on which to base that statement. You only believe Dems are cool… because your friends say so. And, they only say so because some movie star or musician said so… all the while they and the media are in the DNC’s pocket. So, you blindly tow the line and take your marching orders from a political party that is only interested in perpetuating their power.
The voting age should be raised to 30… after people become wise enough to think for themselves! If you really want to be radical and independent… do some honest, serious research and you’ll discover that politicians aren’t your friends.
nice try! Half my friends are republican, and I’ve lost friends over political and religous differences. I’m happy to debate anyone on anything and I dont worry about hurt feelings. During debates in my social studies class I make more intelligent points than some of the other kids in my class because I actually watch news.
And as for supporting Barak Obama because a certain celebrity does, I’m happy to point out that you’re wrong again. I stay away from that crap. I ask people in my grade, democrat and republican alike, why they support the candidate they do, and more than half of them reply “Because my parents do.” I have my own beliefs about issues, and they just happen to match my parents because thats how I was raised. If I believed differently from my parents though, I would still have better reasons for doing so than “It’s what my friends say.” I can think for myself, thank you very much.
So next time you think about saying something as completely opposite like you’re previous comment, don’t. You’ll just dig yourself a hole.

there really should be a test before voting. like what is an incumbent? basic questions everyone that can vote should know, because it’s not really the age that counts. as americans we have a duty to vote in people that will speak for us and we need to be educated on who they are and what they believe. none of this bull of voting someone in because you think he’s cool…. as you can see have pretty much just voted in someone that is destroying our country, and we can fix it by voting everyone out!

Want to provide even a little proof of that? Or do you prefer blissful ignorance to actually looking at the public record that documents his supporters and seeing that you’re dead wrong? Also, if Republicans are so into giving huge amounts of money to campaigns, why is McCain doing sooooo poorly at raising money? For your theory to make any sense (and, believe me, it doesn’t based on finance records) it would rely on even Republicans favoring Obama to McCain. In which case, that makes both parties that favor Obama over McCain and he’d be winning by more than he already is. Check your facts before spouting an ignorant opinion.

Even when I was a little boy, I noticed that there was something wrong with GW Bush. Maybe I didn’t understand politics to the degree that I could make really good decisions, but I saw the obvious. However, so many americans missed out to see the obvious behaviour of GW Bush, that he could’t perform the most simple task of a gentleman. When I combined his arguments and views, with his personality I simply got a bad person. Now, when I combined Obamas views and arguments with his personality, I got a good person fit to be the president of USA.
