I always thought Carter made a better public servant than a President. I just thought it was hilarious that he had to step in to do Bush’s job of bringing groups together in the Middle East.
…and he’s so effective. His last book led to the resignation of the director of his presidential library because it was so one-sided against Israel, and he walked away from his most recent diplomatic efforts with the one party officially ignoring him and the other denying the claims he made of progress.
But he is an excellent woodworker.

I’ll admit his actions tend to be hit or miss, but at least he’s trying, unlike some others.
He’s trying to win the Peace Prize. It has always borked his brain that Anwar Sadat and Menachim Begin won and he did not.

Terrorism depends on whose side your on. They probably wondered if JC was a “terrorist” spy for the Americans.
